I opened Gran'pa's soon after my first grandson was born, when I found that he had no interest in plastic toys I thought I could provide him with something better made from wood
the first of which i made my self.
In the year 2000 I converted one of the offices into a wooden toy shop to sell what I made also toys from other countries.
Luckly the editor of "Lancashire Life" paid me a visit shortly after opening and he was so impressed with the shop that he gave me a four page colour writeup in their Christmas edition.
We have been very successfull from that day on and I now import from many other countries which along with my own collection. You can now buy online with confidence as every item purchased is inspected by myself prior to dispatch. From the Faulklands to Alaska, your product will arrive safely and on time. By the way, I now have 3 granchildren ranging from the age of 3 to 8.
Visiting the shop is an experience in it's self, often as customers pass through the door it is followed with comments such as "wow", "you don't see many shops like this any more!" and "how wounderfull!"
